Aluminum fenders and racks (not plastic)
No one likes riding through a puddle only to arrive at your destination wet and uncomfortable. Don’t get caught with a skunk back. Where most companies use cheap plastic fenders which are a pain to install and don’t often do their job or last very long, FattE-Bikes use high quality aluminum fenders and racks to ensure they last and perform as they should. Plus, you don’t have to settle for a plastic black fender since all our racks and fenders can be powder coat painted to the color of your choice.
Powder coat painting
There’s no need to settle for a paint job that won’t last when you can have a premium automotive grade “custom” paint job that’s not only more durable and will last longer, but also better for the planet. Most liquid paints contain high VOCs that are harmful to the environment whereas powder coat paint has no VOC’s. It’s a win win! Better for you and better for mother nature.
Shipping
Most ebikes companies send their bikes only 70-80% assembled, leading to hours of frustrations as you work to put them together. This also means that if you do it wrong, your bike won’t perform properly or you’ll just end up having to take it to a bike shop and spend a couple hundred dollars on having them do it for you. All in all, it’s not very fun.. However, our Fatte-Bikes ship 99-100% fully assembled meaning you're riding within minutes after unboxing your new bike. We use custom made boxes and packaging to ensure your bike is protected on its journey to you and arrives at your door the same way it left the shop. Simply wheel it out of the box and enjoy the ride!
Motor
With our 750-Watt rear hub motor (with 1000-watt max peak output) you’ll be able to get where you're going without ever breaking a sweat. Riding is effortless with these motors, yet its still all the fun of a bike. However, the power of this motor is capable of climbing hills just as easily as you’re used to riding downhill. No longer does distance or steep hills have to deter you from riding where you want, when you want.
Fat tires
When it comes to riding in comfort, riding on all terrain and riding year-round, nothing beats our 26”x4” fat tires. Knobby enough for traction on dirt, gravel, snow and more, yet smooth enough to carry you through the city streets. The beauty of the fat tire is that you can ride in comfort since extra air equals extra cushion. Plus, you can ride with confidence as you’ll have better traction and control so that potholes or patches of dirt are nothing to worry about.
Throttle
Don’t be fooled by a thumb throttle. Too many ebikes are coming with a thumb throttle that’s difficult to control and can quickly wear out your wrist. Your FattE-Bike will come equipped with a half twist throttle and a safety off switch. The twist throttle is a much more natural and controllable way to get some extra juice from your bike. Scooters and motorcycles use twist throttles (rather than thumb throttles) for a reason. Plus, with no off switch, other throttles can be hazardous if you accidentally engage them. But that’s not something you’ll have to worry about with your FattE-Bike. You’re in total control the whole time!
7- speed transmission
While most people will shift their FattE-Bike using their pedal assist, we’ve included a 7 speed shimano shifter for those who prefer to adjust their ride so they can make it as easy or challenging as they’d like. Unlike conventional bikes, it’s not necessary to adjust your gears very frequently on your ebike. However it never hurts to have as lowering or raising your gears can make a big difference in the effort you put out. That’s the beauty of it. You ride the way you want. Your FattE-Bike will do the rest!
Lights
Being seen is being safe and being able to see is pretty important too. Your FattE-Bike will come equipped with either a single or a dual headlight. One is nice, two is that much better! Your FattE-Bike will also come with an integrated tail light and brake lights. Both your front and rear lights are easily controlled using your LCD. It’s just a push of a button! Ergonomic Grips Ride in style with our faux leather ergonomic grips. Designed to adapt to the riders hands and more comfortable than a standard grip that can cause grip fatigue. Available in either black or brown.
