While most of your ebike riding is likely to be from your home, many riders want to transport their electric bike to one of their favorite trails, or bring it along for a trip.
What kind of bike rack works best for fat tire electric bikes?
Since ebikes are a little heavier than standard bikes, a rear-hitch rack is easier to load than anything on top of the car. Also be wary of bike racks that use straps to hang from the the rear hatch.
The Hollywood Sport Rider hitch rack works great for any fat tire electric bike. This hitch mounted bike rack can fold flat against the car when not in use and can be tilted down for easy access to the cargo area.
Designed specifically to carry electric bikes with any sized tire up to 5" wide. This bike rack can carry up to 2 electric bikes or standard bikes. It includes new universal extra heavy duty wheel holders for heavy load carrying capacity.
The bike rack includes a locking hitch pin, 8' security cable, and locking frame to keep your rack and bikes secure during travel.
For 2" hitches only. Use this rack for your American made electric bike.
PLEASE NOTE: This rack is not compatible with the Major T Cargo model.
*For the Penalosa model, an additional Boomer Bar Pro adapter is needed ($39.99).
